Role overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Divisional Finance Analyst to join our team within Vistry North Midlands, Yorkshire & West. This role can be based at any of our offices in the division (Leeds, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Cheltenham, Bristol). As our Divisional Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to the Divisional Financial Controller and wider Divisional team in providing accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders, including the regional finance teams and group finance. The role involves working to deliver monthly reporting to stakeholders across the business and assist with ad hoc requests. We are looking for an experienced financial accountant who is eager to learn and progress their career.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  Desirable...

  • Experience working with or in a large Group
  • From a housebuilding or construction background (although this is not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Experience of using COINS and Anaplan would be beneficial

  • Assist in the coordination and consolidation of the forecasting and budgeting process across the Division.
  • Consolidate and assist in the review of the divisional cash forecast on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, periodic and ad-hoc Divisional reporting requirements e.g. sales reporting.
  • Manage all aspects of the divisional ledger including cashbook, payroll and accruals.
  • Assist in the review and challenge of regional management accounts and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Proactively promote and maintain the financial reporting and control processes across the division.
  • Assist in the enhancement of Divisional reporting and standardisation bringing new ideas and helping to develop consistent formats of output.
  • Building relationships with regional Finance teams through regular communication and assistance with technical accounting, best practice and divisional and group requirements.
