Emma – I support my wonderful Resourcing Team, and lead on all of the strategic recruitment and change process for the department. My role covers nationally.
I have been in recruitment now for nearly ten years and have always loved helping people find their “next chapter”. I know how important it is to love what you do, so to help people find their passion, helps me fuel mine!
Attitude and behaviour are two very important traits that typically can’t be taught. If someone has a genuine enthusiasm for a role, and has clearly done their research on the business they are applying to, then that gives them a great head start!
Read the job advert/description properly. Make sure the job seems like a good fit for you before you apply. Always know which jobs you have applied for, as if someone gives you a call and you can’t remember which roles and companies you have applied for it doesn’t set the greatest first impression.
I love the freedom to be who I am. I love the openness and transparency of our senior leaders, and how open-minded the business are about trying new ideas out.
