Meet Moaz

As an Assistant Development Manager, I support all stages of the development process—from land acquisition and planning to delivering projects that align with our objectives. I collaborate with various teams, including planning, construction, commercial, legal, and sales, to ensure we meet deadlines, stay on budget, and maintain high quality.

I also work closely with our housing association partners to manage bulk deals and deliver additional units for partnership projects. Additionally, I liaise with external stakeholders, such as local councils and partners, to ensure smooth project progression.

I’ve been with Vistry Group for 1 year and 7 months.

Since joining Vistry, I’ve had access to various training programs and hands-on experiences that have significantly boosted my confidence and skills. I’ve been entrusted with increasing responsibilities and feel supported by my managers and colleagues as I continue to grow.

I regularly review my personal development plan (PDR), set clear goals and objectives, and create actionable plans to achieve them. This structured approach ensures I continue progressing in my role.

One of my proudest moments was stepping up while my line manager was on paternity leave. During that time, I managed to secure board approval and exchange contracts for two critical and complex projects involving a joint venture. These projects required navigating intricate processes and coordinating with the same partner to ensure everything was delivered accurately and on time. Successfully managing this responsibility was both challenging and rewarding.
