Meet our Commercial team. They make Vistry.

Commercial has a big responsibility; our team is all about protecting Vistry’s commercial position, maximising opportunities and mitigating risk. Our work makes sure programme, quantity and health and safety requirements are met for the benefit of the Group and our colleagues. Our advice regarding potential sites and cost information is vital; without it, the wider team can’t make informed decisions for every project.

What we do

We get to work on and positively influence new build residential regeneration projects, private and joint venture residential developments and health, community and extra care schemes. Throughout our various tasks, we focus on best value and undertake cost recovery for Vistry’s completed work. We keep the company in a favourable cash position, managing costs, administrating main and sub-contract orders, taking care of project budgets, and tendering them out with value in mind.

Our priority is protecting the commercial position of Vistry so that we can maintain our success. We review site progress every month, keeping an eye on the works happening, ensuring the supply chain is paid, and settling final accounts. We factor market data and trends into our strategy so that we don’t exceed budgets.
